About the Instructor
Thich Nhat Hanh (October 11, 1926 – January 22, 2022) was a revered Zen master, peace activist, and mindfulness teacher from Vietnam. Founder of Van Hanh Buddhist University in Saigon, he also taught at Columbia University and the Sorbonne. A prolific author of over 60 books, including the bestseller "Living Buddha, Living Christ," his teachings on mindfulness and peace continue to inspire. In 1967, Martin Luther King, Jr. nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
